Many this year be blessed by peace, harmony and good fortune for all of us!<br> <br> I have been very busy this past year so I apologize for not keeping the site updated. I have some beautiful new photographs and I promise to put them up very soon. Ananda Maya is 15 months old and she is the reason I am so busy! She started walking at 10 months and hasn't stopped since! She is a joy for the whole family and keeps us laughing all the time.<br> <br> In response to some ridiculous tabloid press, it's merely false rumors. I'll give you a clue who might be responsible - a disgruntled-ex----. Let's leave it at that! Actually, Casper (that's my husband) and I were invited to attend a World Peace Conference. Notables from all walks of life - spiritual leaders, writers, politicians- AND us joined us - for a 'heart-storming' session. The event was sponsored by Dr. Mansukh Patel -- co-founder of the Life Foundation, Rev. Michael Beckwith - founder of the Agape Church and Mark Victor Hansen - co-author of "The Chicken Soup for the Soul" books. Our purpose was to come up with a plan to mobilize this country for peace. And we came up with some wonderful creative ideas. We had a powerful, inspired time and I'm sure a lot of good will transpires as a result of the day we all spent together. I'll keep you all posted.<br> <br> The Life Foundation's principles reflect Gandhi's teachings. They are also responsible for igniting The World Peace Flame - 7 flames brought together from 5 continents across the globe. Our family has had the privilege of being touched by this beautiful symbol of peace. Every time we go to light the candle, we pray for the flame to ignite our hearts and we pray for peace for ourselves as individuals and for the planet as a whole. We have shared this light with many of our friends. We discussed the possibility of being able to download their logo and pass it on the web - the virtual Peace Flame! One more baby-step towards spreading the light.<br> <br> Dr. Mansukh Patel, whose parents were with Gandhi for 18 years, describes in his book, "the Secret Power of Light" how the light has an intelligence of its own. An example of how this worked in my life is when I read a section where he describes his work with cancer patients. He said he always used the story of a young boy's journey with cancer as his favorite example of the miraculous. The young boy was Craig Shergold and I knew his story very well' --I played his mother in a movie made for PAX TV in 2001! I marveled at how connected we all are.
